Nissan doesn't need to waste money telling the 'average' joe about the skyline. There are threads about this car all over the internet. This car will NOT have any trouble selling around sticker for several years at remotely the sales numbers Nissan has mentioned. The GT-R is for car people and although most people don't know of it [why would they, it hasn't sold here] I assure you everyone who knows jack $hit about japanese sportscars [those actually buying the car] knows PLENTY about the R35 by now.

nice facts since motorex closed a few years ago... thanks for playing
And how exactly does that overturn the laws of supply and demand, genius?

Motorex -> small supply

Nissan production model -> relatively large supply

Motorex -> large prices

Nissan production model -> relatively small prices

if everything was about performance alone, everyone would just buy an 1200whp modified car for less than the gtr as well. If I was in the market for a porsche I would not be looking at how fast I could go, as long as its enough but the build quality and classy look of a porsche has never died.
