possibly saying goodbye to the S
so after much debate and old man winter looming about, i might sell/trade my beloved twocamsam for a tacoma X-runner and this is all because i kind of need a little more storage room due to my job dealing with maintenace/lumber ect ect. which is not too s2k friendly in the end
this is not 100% yet but id figure id ask my s2k friends for advice.
i dont NEEED a truck, but it would help and make my life easier
did i mention i love my s cuz i do
what do you guys say?

Why not keep the S and get a beater truck for work duties?
i would but i kinda like the x-runner and since im like the rest of the crew around here i want my cake and eat it too
i mean why wouldnt you want a work truck that can out handle a 350z
Wouldn't keeping the s2000 AND having the truck mean you're having your cake and eating it too?
The Xrunner, although a "cool" looking truck, is still RWD so it's not exactly winter friendly which leaves you in the same boat as the S, and i doubt it'll truly out handle a 350z. I've owned the 350z, and driven the Xrunner. Not the same by any means.
I've ran into your situation over and over and I ended up keeping the S2000 and buying a daily.
You have new car fever. I've been there, we all have.
Once the whole effect of telling yourself that an XRunner will out-handle a 350Z wears off, you'll be left with a RWD truck that's essentially one evolutionary step away from Mini Truckin'.
If I had listened to all my friends years ago, I would've saved myself the pain and expense of buying a second S2000 later on. Keep the S and buy a beater dude.

im very well aware it is a rwd truck and im ok with that concidering its easier to ride a truck in the snow than an S which i have done already.i am mistaken on it out handling a Z, it just produces more G's either way its a pretty sweet truck but i dont think its going to happen due to this dealer being a bag of sh*t. they had the balls to offer me 5-6 grand for my car PLUS the hardtop for me to trade. my car is not in $5,000 condition.
They did target 350Z handling with the truck. It's no sportscar but it's a close as you are going to get with a stock truck. About once a year I start thinking I might want one so I go test drive them. Something always keeps me from pulling the trigger. Being offered 5K for my trade certainly would.
