i've ridden a bunch of different 600s... and i can say, the 848 feels amazing in comparison. getting on a 600 after being on an 848 makes the 600 feel like a toy. i got used to the torque from the 848 really quick. i do have to say the ergo isn't very nice for the street... but once you're in the twisties, its just plain out fun. the one MUST-DO mod is the 14t front sprocket conversion. it'll help with lower rpms (if you've ridden a twin, you'll know what i mean).

i haven't ridden the evo yet, but i imagine its not that much different. slightly more power, and much better braking feedback is what i envision.
