much like comparing a new CBR1000RR to an 1199, $30k for a Honda MotoGP replica is an absolute bargain compared to $72k for the desmosedici rr when it was new. It'll be interesting to see what kind of character and riding experience the yet-to-be-named Honda brings to the table.

Anyhow, congrats on the Repsol, it's definitely been one of my favorite liveries for years now

Agreed. And if it is anything like the RC's, it won't lose any value over time. I could be tempted to buy one, display it in my living room, and take it out once a year on my birthday.

Nice bike, I sold my 06 1000rr with the Repsol kit earlier this year and moved onto a Ducati 1098.

I would love to see and ride the Honda Repsol rc replica when it's out. Maybe the Repsol version will have a crap load of performance parts, ohlins front/rear suspension, brembo front and rear brakes, a bunch of HRC lightened parts (subframe, swingarm, etc) it'll be the next best thing.
