Default Problems with NSX over 100k?

I have found a good deal on a 91 NSX with 100k+ miles..... What are typical problems on an NSX over 100k besides obviously the motor, and suspension and seals and such??? I can get a complete 3.0 motor swap for 3 grand so thats no big deal! Thanks in advance for any info!

make sure the timing belt/water pump are changed. acura recommends 6 years or 90k miles, or something like that.

I will let you know some of my experiences with the motor you are talking about. I had a friend who had built a tube car chasis so he could use that motor. They modded the shit out of it, but the biggest problem with the motor was finding the parts because honda designed that motor to last.

First - go to www.nsxprime.com with your questions.

Second - there's really no known issues with those engines. As long as the car was taken care of properly (oil changes, etc.) it won't have any trouble with 100,000+ miles. The thing to worry about is some of the tramsissions for the '91 cars have a tendancy to fail. (The "snap ring" failure mentioned above.)

I have a '91 with close to 150K on it. Absolutely no problems. Just make sure the trans. is out of snap ring range, and that the timingbelt/waterpump has been taken care off.
