Looks to be a pretty stubby shifter, and overall looks great. I don't know about the km/hr, because it would only go to 160 km/hr... not very fast. Also, chrome rings on the taillights, but nowhere else? Kind of sticks out, but this car looks good.

This car isn't going to be fast, it's too heavy!

i have a feeling the actual car will not look as nice as in those photos. i bet the interior will look all cheap and plasticky.

I saw the car in yellow at the NY auto show a few months ago. I'm not a camaro fan by any means but this car looked much better in person than it does in photos. I couldn't see the interior as they had it behind velvet ropes with the doors closed. But I think it's safe to say, GM probably didn't bother with a premium interior for the Joe Bob market.

Sadly, it's a deja vu design. 60's repeating themselves. GM fields a great muscle car just as gas prices increase 50% and the entire market is begging for 4 cylinder fuel efficiency.

Oh well, oughta make new Camaro's cheap.

Better than I thought, but just too heavy. V6 version is just utterly useless.

In the muscle car arena, I'm an F body fan who recently learned to love the current gen mustang despite disliking the all but the <1970s, so I'm glad that GM stepped up. Dang, almost 300 horse out of the V6 is ridiculous, kinda scary considering the types of buyers who get the V6. But man is it heavy, 3700lbs? I just hope the hood and rims attribute to 400lbs or something, otherwise it'll be worth the way for the mustang refreshening (rumored return of the 5.0 and power bump to be cometitive with the challenger and camar).
And to all the naysayers about oh, jsut in time for 4.00 gas and what not, any sportscar introduced with some sizeable power is guilty of not appealing to the budget conscious, I mean isn't that the point with these cars?
