Thumbs up question

before i start i just want to let you guy's know im still fairly new to all of this...

I purchased my car about a year ago, and always wondered
if it was just my car or every s2k that kicks up black dust
(the best i can describe it as) after they go for a drive?

After i go for a drive either 3 miles long or 60
i get alot of black dust on my rear bumper.

does this happen with every s2000 ? or is something just wrong with mine?

(crapp i think this is the wrong section?)

Is the dust coming from your exhaust? When i had an s2k i never experienced this happening. The only time i've seen black dust on bumpers is on beaters, and the dust appears to be from the exhaust on those.

Pretty common. I knew someone that leaned out their engine and they said it really reduced that dust so it must have to do with the engine running a little rich. I know I get it on my S and always have.
