Default Question about the IS300/IS200/Altezza

How does the IS/Altezza maintain a 50/50 weight distribution in both it's n/a I-6 form (IS300) and it's turbocharged I-4 form (IS200/Altezza)? Just wondering . . .

It does not at least on the NA IS300 model. Something like a 54/46 weight distribution. Not sure on exact numbers but its not 50/50.

Like b00ston said. The IS300 isn't 50/50 it's around 45/55. And the IS200 isn't a turbo. It's a 2.0L VVTi engine, and it's closer to a 50/50 but not quite.

I think (and I could very much be wrong) that you're partially correct about the turbo comment. The standard Euro/JDM Alteeza/IS200 is not turbocharged. However, I believe that there was (and maybe still is) a limited edition high performance version of the car that had forced induction.
