Default Race gas?

Can I add race gas to my tank? Or do I have to adjust this or that?

No issues for the unleaded stuff. For the leaded gas, you obviously need to remove the catalytic converter.

Do a search on racing fuel. Yes, I use Racing fuel on occasion in my cars.

I did a search, I didn't read all of the posts but for the ones I did read they did not help

SO I can use any race gas for a car that has no cat?

And I can use only high octane unleaded gas for a car with a cat ?

When you used racing fuel did you notice a REAL improvment?
What type did you use leaded or unleaded?

Thanks guys

I suspect you can use any race gas -- leaded or unleaded -- with the cat removed, but why do you think it's necessary? If you're NA, then you shouldn't need higher octane gas. My understanding is that the only advantage of race gas is that it boosts the octane rating, which reduces the probability of detonation (knock), which is only an issue for those of us with turbo's or superchargers. When you have your cat, you should only run unleaded gas that meets the minimum octane rating, per the manual. Leaded gas will damage the cat.

I only use the Unocal 76 Racing Fuel at 100 octane @ $4.50 a gallon. Hard to find anywhere else for less around here. Unleaded only. Used sparingly when I do a drive with the group or plan on taking the S2000 to the track. I think it does not prove any noticeable difference but I think my mind tricks me to think the car seems to perform better, go faster than before.

if it's really hot out, like summer track days are here, 100octane does help an NA car.

Unabageler, I'm assuming that's b/c the knock sensor kicks in and retards timing?
