The camry is almost as quick as an s2k

You do realize that once the Camry and S2000 get to a corner, the Camry will be seeing S2000 taillights for the rest of the drive. And, the last I checked, the S2000 was 0.5 secs faster 0-60 than that in C&D own magazine, I think it was 5.3s and the quarter is in the 13.8s range.

 

They should make a sportier body for those internals and not just throw them in a camry. Also i would love to see a wrx coupe. Honestly who needs them to be up to rally spec?

 

This trend of faster cars may be very short-lived due to the fuel crisis.

Do you think automakers like Toyota and Honda will be focusing on making more powerful and faster cars? Where do you think their R&D focus will be?

 

Go pick up a copy of the August issue of Road and Track and tell me where is the Camry in THIS article titled "Saving Fuel - and Still Having Fun"

 

Last I checked under my hood, I had two fewer cylinders than that Camry too.

Were am I supposed to be impressed? 6 vs 4 and it still can't keep up?

 

and plus thats compared to a wrx everyone knows s2000s are faster...
