...why companies like Ford are better than Honda:

That's a 420 HP NA DOHC V8 you can buy and put in your car for less than $15,000 (labor not included, but you could probably do it in your garage). Go here and read the 9th post. There is an article about the engine.

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=1180

Does Honda offer an engine, wiring harness, and instructions for adding 160 HP to your car, for under $15K? I wish. That is what pisses me off. Is Ford able to offer this due to their rather large market share, or is it part of the reason behind their rather large market share? Share your thoughts.

This doesn't fit anywhere else, and you might roll up on a Mustang owner with a few extra dollars one night, and get the surprise of your life from a "stock GT." I was impressed.

Id rather have a chevy 572 which puts out over 700 hp. And saying ford is better than honda is like comparing apples to oranges. Think before you post stupid comments such as you did

Ford better than Honda? Okay, now I've heard of everything. I'm ready to die, Hesus! "Better" is such a broad word.

I was just looking for wording that would get the most response without being actually inflamatory

Nevertheless, you have to admit, that's pretty cool. My whole question was whether this is why Ford has a larger market share, than say Honda, who everybody agrees makes good cars, and as a side point, would you like Honda to take the same approach, by offering more potent engines for aftermarket installation.

there are new create motors for civics now....i think they are the b-series motor... they are fully built either for NA set up or turbo. as far as i know the aren't from honda though. it is impressive that ford can offer that but like someone said, it apples to oranges...... i think one reason may be that ford has been in the performance game for years and years.... honda has not. if one of those mustangs pulled up with that under the hood and smoked me i'd want to just shake that guys hand... to each there own.. it makes it fun

I guarantee that I will help install a motor like that in a cobra replica in the next year. I have been looking forward to getting a closer look at one for a awhile, but 15K that's insane.
