I've got a couple of friends that have current Expeditions and we get 2 - 2.5 mpg better mileage in our Suburban. How the new ones will do, I don't have a clue. Ford's engines are down on hp and mileage compared to the GMs.

I didn't notice a diesel option, so I guess this is on the Expedition chassis and not the Excursion. We looked at an Expedition, but with the 3rd seat in play, there was no place to put luggage and an Excursion (then with the tall luggage rack) wouldn't fit in our garage.

The Chevy is at 50k and going strong, although a Kenne Bell would help keep my attention.
