The cluctch gets better as it/you get broken in. It's hard to describe the action of the pedal - as it seems pretty non-linear to me. I had a lot of trouble too because I couldn't hear the engine. Worst problem for me though was not standing starts, but 1-2 shifts.

Nice change.
I find the Accord's manual transmission is Honda's best besides the S2000 and SiR. Very smooth and the clutch/gas combination is great

I did spend three hours driving to and from San Francisco today and it did help some. The torque difference is big in first and second gears. Front wheel drive now seems foreign with all the power behind it. I do feel it will be awesome once I adjust. I like the power and all the cool voice activated stuff it has. However it really makes me appreciate what Honda did with the S2000. For those of us lucky enough to have one life is good. I did still find myself looking for S2000s on the road and not Accord Coupes.

Nice choice. I actually drove a G35 coupe and a Accord V6 back to back. For the money, the Accord is a MUCH better choice. It is quieter, smoother, and overall has a more solid feeling. The accord accelerated just as hard as the G35, but the G handled better. I don't see how a G35 is an extra ~8-10k more than an AV6.

[QUOTE]i agree, the clutch has a very direct and sudden "bite" point.
This is where I need to work on my foot work. That sudden bite when applied properly will be a blast!
