The SMG M3 is perhaps one of the best all around cars on the road today, but I still don't think it would satisfy a true gear jamming enthusiast!

I am pretty sure Christy was my GF for awhile. Statements like "Aren't we all in love with the S2000," and "I am getting an M3, even though I've never driven one" and "Here are some pics" linked to "I could post pics, but I won't," crap like that. "Yeah, I am in love with you, but I am screwing this other guy, just cuz, nothing personal, I still love you, I just never want to see you again" "why are you being so weird? You act like you don't like me or something, when all I did was cut you out of my life."

Isn't it amazing how dense people can be, and not even realize it?

christy.. you said you don't care how the car drives as long as you like it, but yet you also stated that you test drove the MY 04 and you didn't like. Everyone might not agree but I think cosmetically the MY04 looks better than the previous MY S2000 which by the way you also said was the main reason you bought one. And for someone that doesn't seem to know much about cars, how did you come to the conclusion you didn't like the MY04. Christy pls! If you like the M3 buy it and feel good about it. You don't need other people to make you feel better about your purchase. I do agree with the others though, that M3 is one awesome machine. I'd love to own one if I can afford it but it's not on the top of my short list (S2000 used to be on the top on my list but since I already own one it's off of it). Good luck and have fun in your soon to be new M3.

I went out and test drove a new M3 about 2 weeks ago. Here is my impression. It is much more comfortable then the S2000. I don't think that I would actually give up my S2000 to get one though. After driving the M3 around a bit I got in my S and headed home. The S gives me more of a thrill to drive and it feels much more connected to the road. Take note I drove an M3 with the 18 inche wheel and a standard 6speed.
