According to Motor Trend, Honda is "molding" the Fit and the Beat concepts with a mileage extending powertrain (possibly a hybrid or a fuel cell or full electric).

I like the look of the car, but I'm disappointed to hear about the powertrain possibilities.

 

old article. It was discussed here about a month ago...and the rendering was just done by some artist at MT. I like the idea though...although I don't know whether I could call it an S2000 successor. They should just make it an enterily new species.

 

I just got the MT today, oh well.

I'm so tired of seeing possible replacements. It's been going on for how long now? Like 5 years? Someone hit me up when Honda formally press releases it. Until then I don't care anymore.

Yup. Old article, discussed here a while back, and no, its not an S2000 replacement, just another Del Sol looking car assuming it gets made.
