S2000 vs. STi

I know the payments are higher but it's probably going to save me money in the long run. That is probably a lot easier than trying to sell it and pay the dealer. I can also afford a lease on a loaded E46 M3 but am wondering if it is worth $749 a month. That is if my parents let me get that car. Even though I have the money to pay for the lease i don't know if they want me to be driving a $60,000 car as my first car.

As some other people have suggested, buy a used Miata or something along those lines and LEARN how to drive first...then get something that better suits your needs/wants...

Please please please do not let your parents buy you an expensive car for your first one. You WILL damage it (and possibly yourself), and with something like an S2000 it is very easy to get in over your head very rapidly. I know I know, you're very responsible and an excellent driver for a 16 year old.....but trust me, you're neither. There's plenty of vehicles out there that are fun to drive but not nearly as edgy/insanity-inducing as an S2000 or STi. If you must have one of the cars you mentioned, go for the used E36...it'll still be plenty fun, it won't break the bank, and won't get you into as much trouble as the others.
these cars are both cars that i enjoy. i have driven a STI and let me tell you this car moves. it is way easier to drive and is fun also. buy the s2000 is i think more fun to drive and with a supercharger, forget it. there is nothing i like more then to cruise in my car and
except maybe
very hard decision but if i would go s2000 although the sti might be better for you for a first car unless you can drive responsible because rear wheel drive is no joke. found out on a personal expeirence.
good luck

its hard to play stinky finger in the S.

That's an excellent point! The E36 may help in that department as well

Which one do you think is better for a daily driver and overall fun.
STi lease for 24/36/48 months is $723/$537/$464.
S2000 lease for 24/36/48 months is $600/$431/$376.
Also, if I get a 48 month lease and get out of it after only 24 months what does it do to me? Do I pay an early termination fine? Does it lower my credit?
Thanks.

Dude
This is going to be your first car, I know that you want a M3, everybody want the best looking practical spotier.... car
But think this I get a M3 ok? you run with it, make long trips...... after 4 years you want to change the car which would be the next level???? not a RSX, Maita... a Carrera 4 maybe? or NSX? (20 years by then), if yes which car are you going to buy when you are 24???
I Started with a crappy Lada then a jumped to Z24, I enjoy it a lot, then a SC Civic, after a DSM Montero and finally the S2000. I enjoyed every car and I dreaming for a NSX in the future....
I could buy a better car becasue my job allow me but I think that someone should take some steps before reach the goal so you will enjoy it more
After this speech (Sorry but I have to practice my English)
I would take the lease if:
you are going to buy the car and if the qoute includes insurance, tires, maintainance.... A 16 yr old with a sport car should pay a lot of money in insurance.

PD FEEL FREE TO CORRECT MY GRAMMATICAL Faults, I must impove my english
