S2k BUDGET
I would try to find a used '01 with low mileage. I just got mine yesterday
Here are the details:
'01 silverstone/black
6800 miles
no dealer options
$26,500
Paid 5% deposit to the private seller, financed the rest because the car has such a high blue book value you could essentially finance the whole purchase with no down payment
I financed ~$25k through my commercial bank @6.99%, for a pmt of ~$500
Insurance is costing me $1400 a year because I think i am still on with my parents, for reference this is only $150 more than my '95 mustang GT conv.
As for the S, my first mile driving the car a woman in a brand new E class merc, pulls up ask what kind of car it is, how much I paid, and says, damn thats a nice car. Not to mention the car is so much fun to drive, way better than the old mustang (if you know anyone who wants to buy it it has 65k miles on it and is fully loaded, asking $9700).
Thanks
