Default S2k to Evo

Hello everyone. I traded in my hardtop 2002 S2K for a 2003 Evo. It has new wheels nice BOV great cat back and really nice stereo. However, I hate the red rear quarter panel red turn signal lights. I want clear ones. Does anyone know of a good Evo community that I can find that is comprable to S2ki? I have loved my time with my s2k and will miss it but mother nature and a baby in Sept. have forced my hand to go to a 4 door. Any help would be appreciated and I will still be visiting this site and loving the S2k.

socalevo.net great community. I know the owner/head organizer of that group and he's really cool. They'll be able to help you out for sure.

Congrats on the new car and baby. Guess if you gotta sell the S, the Evo is a good way to go.

Congratulations on the car and the baby! There's nothing better in life than children. I miss every car I ever sold, but I think you are going to really enjoy the Evo.

I think a Recaro child safety seat would look really cool in your new car. Enjoy!

"Handles like crap"? Have you driven one? Ever done more than look at one in a magazine or blowing by you while you tried desperately to keep up?

In some ways it's not as nimble as a Miata (heck, MOST cars aren't as nimble, including the S2000) but it'll handle right there with those cars. Better brakes than either of them, too.

Why do people think the Evo/Sti are only good for straightline? Most drivers can handle the Sti/Evo BETTER than the s2000 just because they are much easier to drive and grip.

I think it handles much better than the s2k. It is far more predictible to say the least. The all wheel drive and strut tower bars make it the most rigid car i have ever driven. I drove in the rain for the first time today and i never felt like the car was sliding or that i needed to be to concerned with a moderate down shift. Every time I drove the S in the rain I thought I was one slight move away from loosing it off the road.
