Only reason I would do this is if I had the opportunity to buy a salvaged S2000 for cheap or one with so many miles on it the price was too good to pass up.

Same here. It's a great technical execution, and I for one never been to be convinced of how great the LSx motors are, but I'm not much of a fan of hybrids. To me, it's an S2K only with the F2X, just like an RX7 is with the 13B, etc.

I get some of the pros though - it's super unique, you still get a lighter car (vs. a C5/6) in the end, the S2K has spectacular handling (though not sure even with the small-ish weight delta how much this is compromised).

I think all forums have a wide range of users and I generally enjoy most of them, but some are so saturated with tools I refuse to even register (Honda-tech appears to be a glowing example of the latter).

awesome swap. sounds mean. i will definitely consider doing the same thing to my car once my engine dies.

honda-tech is full of retards z0mg. some of those guys need to stick to talking about the most effective way of stealing red honda emblems for their $1500 dollar salvage titled 92 civic hatch so it can add 5 extra hp and finally break into the 15s in the 1/4 mile.
