Default Saturn Sky

Check out the Saturn Sky. For an economy roadster, it's looking pretty nice.

Highlights:
-RWD available LSD
-Bilstein monotube shocks
-18" Alloys
-StAl Chassis
-Oil-jet cooled pistons

It's not made to battle the S2000, but if the price is in the low $20s, it's not a bad choice for an economical and good looking roadster. What do you guys think?

I love the rear and the front is very aggressive.

Looks fast, but slow. Just like the Celica ;p

I'm into the looks but I'll wait for a Red Line version before I even start to consider it

I think 170 hp is not enough.

Looks pretty good but I've yet to see a pic with the top up - gonna have to reserve judgement until then. Engine is weak but the car is going to be tough competition for the Miata and Soltice.

I really like the look and like others, I'd wait for the 235bhp Redline version. I have 2 concerns:

1. It'll get overly dulled down from the version now shown as many companies do w/ their concepts. Tho, this one may not.

2. Reliability - my friends with Saturns have all had big issues within several years of ownership. Tho it did take several years for these issues to arise, I've had Hondas, Toyotas, and Mazdas for many more years on them that didn't have any of the issues they had w/ their Saturns.

Its the best looking saturn yet, but not 100% sold on the looks. The front looks really big and the butt looks really small from certain angles. The front is buttom heavy. The side view is good though and the boot cover is nice.

Who cares how a roadster looks with the top up?

Oh, and I doubt Bob Lutz cares about the Sky's competition from the Solstice. Whichever one you buy, the dollar still ends up in his pocket

However, I do think it's silly that the two cars have the exact same engine. Wouldn't they (and we) be better off with staggered marketing?

Looks about as cool as Toyota's newest MR2... which isn't very cool.
