Have you test-driven one?

Just from what I can remember, I test drove the Sky Redline (if you get one, you better get the Redline).

-Looks = great, gets lots of attention
-Handles nicely, felt a bit heavier than the S2000 though (which isn't a bad thing imo, the Z06 feels a lot heavier than the S2000 too, but grips the road tons better)
-It takes corners flat with a lot less body roll than the S2000.
-Shifter doesn't feel as nice as the S2000's.
-Clutch is light.
-Lots of torque, feels a lot faster than the S2000, but isn't that much faster in reality.
-Seats have a ton more padding than the S2000 seats, but S2000 seats fit/hold me a lot better.
-Putting the soft top down SUCKED... the Sales guy spent a couple of minutes trying to figure everything you have to do to put it down, and ended up asking another guy how to do it... Requires a lot of steps.
-Have to get out of car to put top down.
-With the top down, there is next to zero trunk space.
-Better sound system than the S2000.
-No HIDs

I liked it a lot, but the seats felt like they belonged in a luxury car, not a sports car... Also, the soft top turned me off, I like being able to put the top up/down at stop lights if I need to (rain, etc), and when I go in a store or work (it takes less than 10 seconds to do in the S2000)

+1

I haven't spent much time around the Solstice/Sky but it didn't seem as roll-resistant as the S2000 through the corners.

Maybe the Z0K factory performance upgrade would make it stiffer and reduce roll?

I think it's pretty awesome that someone can come to s2k forums and ask about another car without having to put a flame suit on

as far as the sky goes, check out these forums sky forums

I would have to know your goals before I could recommend/warn about any car

Never driven a Sky, but I did drive an 06 Solstice which is pretty much the same car. Being a GM, the interior is nasty. The quality is just not there. The driving dynamics were boring I thought.

I think they're beautiful looking cars, I wouldn't mind having one. Never test drove one but would definitely take it over a Solstice.

Every time I see a Sky I stare, GM did a great job styling that car.
