Default Sean John Wheels

Combs is joining forces with a Kansas City manufacturer to produce a new line of custom, precision-forged aluminum rims for sports trucks, luxury SUVs and high-end American- and German-made automobiles.

The 50-50 joint venture between Combs' Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group and Kansas City's Weld Wheel Industries Inc. was announced Thursday at the New York International Auto Show. SJC Wheels LLC will produce and sell "Sean John Wheels," named for the entertainer. They hit stores next month, retailing at between $700 and $3,000 each.

"Sean John"? Doesn't roll off the tongue well. The wheels themselves don't look too bad.

And before that, he was known as "suspect number one."

I just read that article on msn, and I don't think these wheels are a good idea. I wouldn't buy those things if I became a millionaire for some reason. First off, they're too big! Second, I wouldn't compromise my SUV's suspension by trusting the wheels made by a guy who's a "professional" in music, yet can't come up with something original songs. Third, my insurance becomes void if I purchase anything that asks to be stolen.

Born Sean John Combs, legend states that he earned the nickname Puffy because as a high school football player (at the all boys private school Mount St. Michael's Academy), he would puff out his chest to appear larger than he actually was.
When he left Uptown to start Bad Boy, he changed his stage name to Puff Daddy
Following controversy to include the Notorious BIG's shooting death, problems with Jennifer Lopez, various incidents involving gunfire, and the departure from Bad Boy of Mase and the Lox, he changed his stage name again to P. Diddy, hoping the name change would separate him from the bad publicity

also the name P.Diddy was a nickname the Notorious B.I.G. gave him circa '95, he was the only one who called him that until Puff changed it to his stage name... you can hear Big call him it in several songs including "Victory", and Lice, don't criticize puff, he's made many excellent songs whether they were samples or not. Your no original songs argument is beyond archaic as he hardly uses anything from old songs anymore and he hardly did in the first place. Plus he's an excellent business man otherwise he wouldn't be so rich and have the number 1 men's clothing line since he surpassed Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hillfiger last year...
about the wheels, they are being designed by him AND the ex-racer so they sgould be just fine, I've seen rims done by basketball players and they were cool, so these should be just fine, and besides the suspension isn't totally destroyed by large wheels, the suv/car just wouldn't handle as well but not dramatically. Plus most drivers don't drive their vehicles hard in the first place so not everyone needs a suspension with optimum S2000 level tuning anyway. BTW, I doubt all the wheels would be ridiculously large either...
