Default Sedan!?! Hatchback!?! CUV!?!?

I'm looking to lease a new car for my mother. She's never owned a new car and she will soon be turning 60 so I think it's about time!

Requirements:
All wheel drive
It's gotta look cyoot (her words not mine).
Between 20,000-25,000.

Remember we are looking to LEASE for 36 months.

I figured who better to ask than my car-obsessed s2ki brethren.

What should she get?

CRV, HRV, CX3, CX5.

I'm partial to the HRV and CX3. Both are great

Just take her out shopping and look at all the options. Hard to go wrong in that market, but nothing really stands out above the crowd. I like newer Mazdas and Fords. Can't go wrong with a Subaru (although they aren't much to look at). Maybe the XV Crosstrek?

Honestly, it's a pretty boring task you have assigned us to, probably not going to get a lot of impassioned responses.

In any event, I think I'd look at a wagon/ute over a sedan - just more usable space.

yeah but than he said he was looking to lease... some of those cars lease close to the original cars he mentioned. You can get a c300 4matic in the 400s with less options.

That new Mitsubishi Outlander fits the bill. Older folks like the Forester too (my parents).
