People telling you to keep an NSX with 150,000 miles over a low mile Vette just don't understand that even a very nice car gets old. I say get the Vette, but I would get the C6 if I were making the descision
I agree with Saint the Z06's appearance is not as good as the regular Vette. For me it has nothing to do with the wheels, or the vents on the side (I think they actually improve the appearance). To me it is the abrubt cutoff of the hardtop design on the smooth roofline of the coupe version (regular) Vette. The hardtop to me looks awful. The coupe looks much better. A little fastback appearance. I know the hardtop reduces weight for the model, but I can't help but think that it makes the Z06 hideous.
150K on that NSX??? Geez, I didn't read closely enough. Let that thing go. Get a C5. You may have little electrical problems here and there and a few trim pieces may fall off, but its a very well designed sports car.
Heh, I must admit, all the talk about the C5 having a cheap ass interior and being less that a true driver's car makes me snicker. If you've spent as much seat time in a C4 as I have (1996 LT-4 6 spd.), you'd be of the opinion that the C5 is an absolute godsend in the areas of handling, steering feel, ergonomics (!), build quality, balance, NVH, etc.
Corvettes are tough, brutal, and need to be grabbed by the scruff of the neck, much like a Rottweiler, Mastiff, or any other guard dog. Treat it as such, and it will be a loyal companion. All this talk about 'get a Z06 or forget it' is splitting hairs to a degree. That applies more to the track than the street. If its going to be a street ride, standard C5 is very much worthy.

I have an '01 C5 and have been very happy with the reliability, comfort, and performance abilities. Interior materials is a dead horse, so I won't even go there.
As far as a fun, relatively comfortable, reliable car, an '01+ C5 Coupe will fit the bill very well as a replacement for your NSX.
