Sell NSX for C5?
Hi guys...well, I have a '91 NSX, and am actually considering selling it to a friend of mine, and picking up a used C5. Part of the reason is the mileage....my car has close to 150K on it, although there are no problems, minor things like weather stripping, cv boots, etc. are a little worn, and I still love the look of a C5.
I've never owned an american car, but I must be getting old...I want something a little less "harsh" as a daily driver. Something smoother, with more torque and etc. Would the C5 be a downgrade?
My NSX is a has quite a bit of road noise due to the really thin tires and HKS exhaust/intake. I was wondering whether anyone can compare the noise/comfort to a C5...
I DON'T want a Z06, because I don't like the way it looks (looks is very important to me..). I want a black/black coupe, 6 speed....any advice/opinions? Thanks guys!

I've been very happy with the build quality. Especially since its 14 years old and has high miles...but a part of me just wants a "newer" car, where everything in it is still perfect. I don't know much about the quality of the C5, but from what I've read, they seem to hold up fine so far...I know it will never attain the reliability/quality of the NSX, but I don't plan on keeping it longer than 4 years....I wonder if at 50k, the C5 will start falling apart or not...
I think after owning an Rx-7, (maintenance nightmare!!) the S2k and NSX were godsends. I'm not sure whether its just one of those "grass is greener on the other side" moments or not. But at this point, all I'm gonna do first is research....knock on wood, the NSX has been problem free thus far. Can the same be said about high mileage C5s?

See if you can get into a 97+ NSX. I would consider it a downgrade. Nothing (in the sports car category) gives an everyday drivability like the NSX, not even the 911. The C5 drives around everyday just fine, but the interior is cheesy even compared to a 91' NSX.

...hehehehe...ok
. Thanks for the opinion. Maybe I should stick with the NSX....
