SELL THE S FOR A S14 OR KEEP IT?!
whats ur opinions?
i have a chance to purchase a supercharger kit off my bro for the s with the money i make off selling my beater. i would still need to sell a few misc items and save up for a upgraded clutch and a new flash, prolly get the flash first.
so ill have a pretty quick reliable fun car
downside is im living paycheck to paycheck and dont ever have extra coin for much of anything let alone spending some money on my car like id like. example money for track days, tires and such.
I figured if i sell my s2k, that would leave me with no monthly car payment.
I really like the kouki s14 240sx nissan. ive found some slightly modded ones with sr20's within a reasonable price range that i could possible pay cash and not have a monthly payment.
Upside would give me more extra coin in my pocket for whatever, even mods and track time. Down is not sure how relilable it will be, but than again im not looking for a 400 whp car either.
Not sure how i will like a turboed s14, i owned a stock s13 and was ok, no s2k obviously. But as much as i love my s2k, i hate not having extra funds to mod it or even pay for a possible traffic ticket.
what would u guys do?

Ok, some observations from me.
1: Don't get rid of the beater. It will make the S more fun because it will be the faster car always (you won't get used to the speed) and you won't have to take it out in the shitty weather, crowded parking lots, etc (unless you want to).
2: If you trade for any S14, it better be as cool as this one:
http://www.carolinahondas.com/non-honda-ve...tons-parts.html

all that thing needs is some paint and different wheels to get rid of the stretched look.
3: Payments aren't bad if they aren't breaking you.
4: The S has as much potential to be a highway dominating beast as the S14, just not the gamete of parts.
Keep the S, save the beater for the winter and when the S is down for modding.

I went from an s14 to my current S. I was ready to move onto something newer, in better condition and was able to do so comfortably financially wise. I think having extra dough for tuning/emergency is always better than having the best car you can afford. Your budget wont be as tight and life wont be as stressful. How can you enjoy the S if you're always worried about money.
In the end, its just a car.
In the end, its just a car.
