Very nice car...The looks are clean, but if I quibbled too much I have a little problem with the greenhouse. The window area is small, a bit reminiscent of the Chrysler 300 greenhouse. The car is also very big. I wish Ford built a car that had the size (and looks) of the European Mondeo. Build quality is very impressive, and the interior is quite striking.

Overall, a very nice job by Ford!
Fusion. The next generation Fusion and Mondeo will supposedly both be on the same global platform. I'm assuming that means they'll be more or less the same vehicle (ala the third gen Focus). Fusion SVT/RS please.

I'm very happy with what ford is making in general right now. We looked for a flex for a company car for a while and was impressed by it. We ultimately didn't buy one, but that's for another reason.

The SHO looks like a nice ride. 43k does seem like a bit, but i think that's mostly just me thinking 'but it's a ford'. I have not shopped it against other competitors in the price range so it's hard to know how it stacks up.

I've never been much of a ford fan, but I like the direction they are going with their motors as well. Good luck to em. If one American car company is going to get it all together Ford seems like the one to do it and their history makes it a good story as well.

Not any that you'll actually find on a dealer lot. The 335 sedan starts at $40K, but dealers only stock models with most options. You're going to find a few for high $40's, most for high $50's. And a 3 series is hardly what I'd call roomy.

Plus what makes me like Ford even more. Is they never accepted any bail out money.

most for high $50's.
I was just at a BMW dealership 3 weeks ago. No, most were not the high 50s; some were in the 40s and a few were in the 50s. If I wanted to, I could've bought one for low 40s.

Interesting point of view. Why?
Well first, $9,000 dollars in options for a $34,000 car is stupid. Thats money you are throwing away because you will never get the same return on those options when you sell the car. Add that to the fact that Ford resale value isn't the greatest. Secondly, I just can't see spending that kind of money for that car. If you want a sports or muscle car, you can buy one for cheaper that will do more. If you want a family sedan, you can buy one for cheaper that will do all you need it to do. I used to buy the most powerful car I could afford until I realized that I never drove the "family" car in a way that required it. Lastly, if I had $43,000 to spend, my first, second, or third thought would not be "Yeah, I can buy a Taurus!"
