A friend of my Dad's, Jack Ondrack, won the Open Track Challenge in 2002 with a 914 with a non-Porsche engine (I think it was a V8). They were running huge slicks - it was a bastardized car but super quick.

 

I'm glad they document the mileage. I would have bid, but I'm looking for a motor-swap 914 with under 4000 miles lol.

That's a sharp looking car, and I noramlly HATE the 914 because it looks cheap and flimsy.
