SLK55 vs Z4M vs Cayman S
#21
I personally love the styling of the SLK55, but it doesn't come in manual transmission
I'd choose the Z4M over the CS just because you get a smoking deal on those cars these days.

A lot of you guys are saying the SLK55 isn't sport. Have you seen the Top Gear episode with its review by Jeremy Clarkston? He raves on how fun it is to drive and easily toss around. He even bought one afterward. It is not just a lux cruiser.
Auto only is a big buzz kill, even if the flappy paddles are pretty darn good.
The road and steering feel of the M and CS are superior on a track.
As I said, if he's looking for something more luxurious and DD than raw sports, the SLK55 would be a great choice, but if I were looking for a pure sports car, the others would work better for me. Though I'd probably take a C6 for less money than both

Yeah, it's weird these "sport" or performance oriented cars that's coming out has no manual transmission..... I mean, shouldn't they at least offer it as an option??
The SLK55 and the IS-F .... slk55 doesn't even have a DSG.... weird....
In turns of styling, I think SLK55 edges...
In turns of performance, I think Cayman S
and in turns of price, Z4M ....
very hard to choose.... I've seen a lot of S2000 owners went to the Cayman S though

Everybody agrees with me that Porsche cars just have this charm that's inexplicably attractive.
I do, however, have an 07 Z4m

If i had money, I go for Cayman S, if not I go for Z4M.
I liked Z4M's driving feel better than Cayman S, but CS just looks so much better.
I'm not sure how everyone is saying about getting Z4M at mid 40's these days, it was only for 07 and it's not easy to get 08 in mid 40's, especially if you are oredering. I mean they do not have much 08's around to begin with.
