If they build it, I'll probably buy one.
I bought the S2k in spite of it's being a convertible rather than because of it. I'd much prefer a coupe/hatch.

Well, at least this one will have some windshield support.

Looks like a modern Gremlin on the back.

I like the idea, just not the execution.

That photo's of an years-old concept, so it's not necessarily indicative of the coupe's final shape.

Building a (presumably hatchback) coupe will address one of the convertible's main shortcomings -- an almost complete lack of trunk space. Also, as was the case for Boxster -> Cayman, Z3 roadster -> Z3 coupe, etc., it should help make an already good car's dynamics even better.

Let's see if they try to make it more expensive like Porsche did.

I need to see one in person but it definitely has potential...kinda reminds me of a newer version of old Jag XKE or something along those lines.

Makes sense.

The top on the solstice/sky is such a pain as it is, every time I see one on the road it seems like there is a 50/50 chance the top will be up, no matter how nice it is outside. Why not make the car the way most people drive it anyway.
