STI or EVo8
#3
This has been discussed a few times.
I prefer the material quality and interior looks / quality of the Subaru, but the driving dynamics of the EVO8 are in my opinion superior.
Currently the EVO guys seem to be getting horsepower easier and cheaper. Not sure how long that will last.
Regardless, both are fine vehicles, even more so when price is taken into account.

I have the sti, I just like the looks better. the mods will be equally availabe by mid spring. the sti has a big motor advantage and 6 speed, the evo handles better. If you are unbiast, wait and get the EVO RS, the lightweight, cheapest version due out soon about 26000

STI all the way! ...With the EVO8 at 19.5 PSI stock boost, I don't know how much more boost it can handle from upgrades before the engine gives way....and yes the Subaru does have the slightly bigger engine advantage, plus I like the STI interior more but the EVO8 looks killer from the outside. Tough choice if you ask me but I would go with STI
