Like I said before, the EVO is an awesome performer period. As for the M3, the seats weigh 60 lbs a piece, the battery is 50lbs, the exhaust is 55lbs. By addressing those three areas an owner can save about 150lbs. That would bring the M3 from 3400 to 3250 lbs. That is just basic stuff. Suspension wise Ground control makes a good package with coilovers and sways for less than 2k and with adjusting the alignment for the track the M3 is ready to go. I am not trying the bash the EVO it is without a doubt the best performance value going. It is just a fact that the M3 off the showroom floor is more of a compromise than the EVO. If an owner is focused on tracking the M3 it can be a hell of a track car.

Where is the dealer!!!!!!?????
People at Subaru board haven't heard about any dealer that has the car yet.
I'm on the waiting list of 4-5 different dealers, and none of them know anything.

Uhm.. I got a call from my dealer telling me that I'm at #2. He asked me what color wheels I wanted and I had to tell him I couldn't afford the car at the moment.

ummm the M3 is like $20-30,000 more, tough compairison, but a modded $50,000 STI would kill everyone! I have to see this thing. Oh and the 400hp M3 will be FAR MORE than $60,000 more than double the price.
