lol @ show off valve

ya the X really needs a tune to wake up, with bolt-ons AND a tune it makes considerable power over stock. torque to weight ratio really helps races from lower speeds and that's where the ms3 has its advantage.

yeah if I had a little higher income at the time I got my MS3 I think I would have entertained some better cars like the Evo, STi, or 135i. Obviously from a roll tons of power in a FWD car at high speed isn't exactly a disadvantage but it really has a hard time putting the power down. And when it comes to making anything north of 300WHP this engine is a joke comparison to an Evo or STi.

I just gotta be happy with what I got for the price though, car is pretty good at everything, its fast, corners well despite the torque steer, just gotta know how to drive it properly, lots of cargo space, decent MPG.

on iwsti.com, there's talk that the 2010 sti will make an appearance in Aug, with minor tweaks and a lot of anticipation of a sedan body option... we'll see....

i drive the Evo/STi/ms3 frequently and although i personally think the evo/sti are more versatile cars, the ms3 is by no means that far down the food chain...i actually found the ms3 to be just as fun as my evo 9 and my friend's 06 STi, esp. since it has more low end torque compared to my 9. the interior was top notch (hey, i had an Evo 9 lol), the seats were awesome, and i didnt even think the shifter was as bad as everybody's making it out to be. oem exhaust note is awesome. with 5 doors, it's really hard not to love.
