Default Supra vs. m3

Between a 1994 toyota supra twin turbo stock, vs. a 2003 BWM M3 stock, which would pull from a dig...how about a roll on from 30?

I'm guessing it would be somewhat even, with the M3 edging out by a nose at the checkered flag. Both are of similar weight, but I think the Supra is heavier car generally, on top of having 18 fewer hp. The BMW is revvier and would probably require more work, but I can't see it losing assuming drivers with relatively equal capability.

It would be a driver's race. Supra's aren't slow stock, they dyno roughly 320 crank hp vs 333 of the m3, but more torque and have a friendlier to launch LSD unit.

Both can run very low 13s (even high 12s) at anywhere from 106-109mph. But when it comes to modification, the Supra is leagues above the M3, due to its "bullet-proof" engine.

Back in college, my roommate had a 03 m3 and I had a 97 supra turbo. Both were stock, both were manual transmissions. One time for fun, we raced for a 25 mph roll on an empty highway (cornfields). Both of us would start out even, somewhere between 3rd and 4th gear, the Supra would pull away slowly. It wasn't a complete blowout or anything - probably would come down to the driver.

We both still have our cars, but rarely drive them. It was fun while it lasted.

One thing very bad about the Supra, one has to be very careful around it. Even wind from a fart could boost its power up by a thousand times. The best 3L I6 ever made and ever will be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One can literally take a machine gun and shoot at the engine and it would shrug it off, because it's "bullet-proof".
