Default swapping my ap1 with a w21 e55 amg

hi guys im planning on swapping my ap1 with a w210 e55 amg benz. what do you guys think of it and alos what can you say about the e55 amg?? thanks!

is the S a status car there? the driving experience is polar opposite. wikipedia has a large section on the w210 devoted to "reliability issues."

but as always, what's the better car depends more on the driver than anything else. what do you like about it, and what do you like about your current S?

i like the handlind on the S but i like the practicality and comfort of the benz...... should i go for it? thanks! reliability issues? like what problems? thanks!

a lot of good threads on supraforums.com. bottom line, try and get a third party warranty and you should be fine as some hoses need replacing which arent cheap. other than that, I will probably follow in your foot steps and do the same in a few years here. 500hp+timeless looks really does it for me.

The W210 E55 that the OP is talking about only has 349hp. It's powered by a normally aspirated 5.4l V8. The W211 E55 is the supercharged monster. The W211 E55 is rated at 469hp, but dynos every bit as high as the SL55 which is rated at 493hp.
