TEST DRIVE
early this morning our dealer recieved two new 6's. at lunch today i was able to take one of them for an extended drive.
now the previous model, was more or less a joke. it didnt compete and didnt sell all that well. it wasnt bad, but more of an eptiome of medicore.
the new car is shockingly good. very good. i drove a loaded v6 model with all options except navi. wow. like a i say, im shocked at how well FORzda put this car together. great power, proabably the second fastest mazda in production, easily nipping on the heels of a MS3, and pimp slapping a RX8 6sp with ease. very little tq steer, meaty powerband with "balls of fire" mid-range passing power and flat cornering.
shocked. stunned. amazed. this is the best mazda built yet IMHO. a very real compeitior to the Accord/camry/sonata. 276hp/270tq and 3500lbs is a decent power to wieght ratio, and the suspension is great.
our loaded(excluding navi) 6 v6 stickers a 30k. not a bad deal at all. navi cars are 33k.
go test drive one, just for fun, but be aware that you might not look at a camry or accord the same. with my mazda employee pricing i CANT NOT buy this car over the competition. dont worry the TSX is safe, until the right deal pops up on a e39 540iM sport.

Have you driven either the new Accord or Camry? Just curious how you would rate the new 6 to the newer Camcords.
I definitely think the 6 is the looker of the bunch.

Just curious not going to buy anytime soon, just wondering if 25,000-26,000 was realistic 6 months-12 months from now with my X-Plan discount through my employer.
Thanks
