Just go drive them, they are really very different... the IS has the luxury, the 335 is clearly the performance winner, and the G35 is in between (and likely the low price winner but not prices are set yet).

I was so blown away after driving the 335 that I simply won

i'm just waiting for the second year run.. so i can get a 335i coupe with a mad deal from a relative who works at bmw financial services corporate.

the s will be paid off by then.. and life will be good.

They sure are going to have to make the new M3 something special! I'm a little bummed about the change to a n/a V8 rather than an extra-boosted I6. Will every chipped 335 run away from the new M3?

I kinda figured that's how it would play out, although I'm surprised they used the 335i as the BMW competitor. IMO the 335i exists explicitly to compete with the G35C, although BMW would never say that.

The e30 M3 was not boosted. It was an NA 2.3L

there was a special edition E30 ///M3 that ran a boost 2.5 I6 IIRC.
