Ever since the Off Topic forums went paid, I hadn't had much luck finding a mature, active board to discuss cars. Here I find a lot of like-minded people who can have a natural, respectful conversation about cars. Happy to participate, or lurk as I do more often.

There are very few forums I actually visit anymore, and this is one of them, because the community and content are so good.

Yep, still here after 17 years, 7 months, and 21 days... But I gotta admit I had to put a few people on ignore in order to handle it.
Crazy to think my car will be 19 years old in a few months...

It's gone downhill big time Between the track junkies that constantly jerk themselves and each other off, the honduh fanbois, and the annoying Curated Content clickbait bot, it's ****ing terrible. It also latches on to hyperbole about other cars way too much: someone posts about an STi? "Hurr durr ringland failures!", someone posts about an Rx7? "Hurr durr rotaries are terribad and the seals will blow lol" Someone posts about a 911? "Derpity durr the IMS is gonna kill the engine!".

Your comment is like ims failures, so ten years ago. I think it's been about that long since we talked about rx7s, probably because their apex seals all failed.
