Default Thinking of selling the S

It's come to the time where im thinking about getting rid of the S. It's been fun while it lasted, just getting bored with her. Here is what im thinking about picking up instead. I know its a big difference in vehicles but I like the 300's alot. Let me know what your opinions are before I make the decision.

It's a 300c SRT-8 if you all wern't sure

in what ways are you bored of your s2k?? personally, i can never replace my s2k with a 300C. i seriously think you will get bored of it real fast. all i can suggest is that you go test drive one extensively to see if that is really what you are looking for in your next car.

I could understand if you were thinking of a Z4, Boxter, 911, Cayman, or NSX. Bored with one sports car and switching to another. But a heavy, old Mercedes rebadged as a Chrysler? That's not exactly exciting. I'd go GTO if I wanted the practical Muscle car thing. I hear you can get some pretty good deals on them.

Well, I hate that car so I would never endorse the decision I just think its ugly. Certainly faster than the S though.

The 300C is a nice car, but it is no where close to a light sports car - that driving dynamic will be missed - take it from me - I had a sports car hit by a drunk and was left with only my sedan to drive for a long while, and while life goes on, you'll want another sports car.

Have you thought about something like a used 3-series convertible?

I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.

I'd look at a Mustang or GTO or a Vette if you need a V8.

Actually I'd look no further than the Vette but what do I know?

Dont do it. If anything buy the srt as a daily driver and keep the S. You'll be kicking yourself after a few months (like I did).

i had a 300m with 3000 miles on it as a rental when I was in AZ. it was not a srt-8 but after 600miles, It was the most boring car I have ever driven. Yes the ride was nice, and quite but it was boring as hell. everything in the car feels cheap.

If I wanted a 2-seater I would just keep the S. I have had sports cars my whole life and just want something different. This car is nice as well as sporty so I think it will suit me. Also this will be my second car so I will still own a sport car.
