Thinking of selling the S
Ugh. I wouldn't get the 300C. Can't be much fun to drive, I think. I've also read they are pretty expensive to run (brakes, tires, front air dams). Why not get a 335i for a different experience? Lighter, stick, better handling, plenty powerful, better resale, better fuel economy, better quality, free maintenance, sports sedan benchmark, etc., etc., etc., etc. It really is an amazing piece. Go drive one.
I think you'll find most s2k guys won't appreciate the 300C - it's about as polar opposite to our cars as you can get. I'm not a fan either, however, I think it's an interesting car nonetheless. Lots of power, interesting design - if you like it, go for it!
However, if I were itchng for a different kind of car, this is what I'd get:
BMW E39 M5

It's a more refined, better built, better looking, more rare, sportier, more legendary, german version of a 300C SRT8

Why? Specfically are you bored of a roadster or you just want a 4 door sedan? ifyou answer either of those questions there are alternatives to the chrysler, about all that car had that is worthy is it is cheap to buy, especially used due to quality issues, and it has ok lines for a boxy 4 door sedan...but there are other choices with better lines, better quality and for the same price range used or new...why?
ohh...maybe it is just that you want a 300 really bad, that is the why of it? my opinion....take a vacation and think it over.

I rented a 300C (V6) when they were fairly new. I thought it was OK, but lets just say the thought never crossed my mind that I'd want to buy one.
A V8 sounds like a fun idea, but they have serious traction issues (IMO) at least the car I rented did maybe it was the tires, and serious Stability control power cut-off. As in the stability control was 100% too intrusive, try to make a sharp U-turn and it cut the power like mad.
Wet traction was horrible I bearly touched the gas when it was wet out and the tires lit up. I was not even trying to go fast or anything.

Why go from sports car to a boring, domestic tank?
I'd go with a used M3. You get size, comfort, handling, and speed all for one. Plus it's a damn sexy car (if I could have afforded an E46 when I bought the S I would have in an second).

Dang dude your a little late with the April Fools joke here!
Hey I have to say I have been driving a few other cars lately and I have to say that the "S" has ruined me for almost anything else!! If you have to go American rear drive at least get a Mustang. They look so good . Or wait for that new Hemi Challenger; yeah there u go!
