if it's a front tire, move it to the rear and go find yourself a used tire if you dont want to buy a new one.

Find out the laws about Pot holes for your city. Where i used to live they were only liable if they didnt fix it within 24hrs of it being reported. If thats the case, report it then wait to see if they fix it. If not say you just hit it.

Do you have a tire warranty? Pro-rated warranties are often thrown in by my local tire shops. I'd change it out ASAP!

It could blow out any time. I had one that blew out in the parking lot two days after it appeared.

and i ran on one for months and months when i was broke in college. i kept freeway speeds down after as a precaution. overall, it was probably a bad idea, because if i would have hit ANOTHER pothole with the tire and slammed it equally hard i would have likely had a blowout. but i did get to wait until i could afford to fix it, and i didnt have an issue.

if you dont hit anything, you'll probably be ok. problem is you cant really predict that, and if the tire explodes, you're likely to have a VERY hard time not destroying the car as you slide to a stop.

Just replace the tire. It will be cheaper than replacing the tire and probably the rim if it lets go at speed. Remember, the life you save may be someone else's.
