Default Track tires.....

For you track guys. What kind or tires are you running? I went to the track for the first time to watch last weekend and I'm hooked. I will be on the track starting next season. TIA

Have you ever ridden a motorcycle on a track before? I'm not sure you'll be going fast enough to justify the expense of dedicated track tires, you know? Most street tires these days are sticky enough to get you leaned over as far as you'd ever want to. What's on you bike right now? I have the OEM Dunlop Qualifiers on my 600RR, and they're plenty sticky for me.

ridden on the street tires get a flat edge because you dont use the whole tire as you would on the track.

Good point. This will be my first time on the track and I still have my OEM tires on right now. So street tires are ok?
