slow shift and full clutch depress with smooth shifts will save your tranny.
I loved my sti, have fun. Perrin stealth back and a reflash with high flow cat and your in heaven.

yeah, a bunch of mods before you even drive then thing is not the best idea, but too each his own.
A lot of guys who auto-x the STI put a huge front bar on. It seems to have the opposite effect you would think on the STI because of the suspension. Also, you can tuck some massive rubber under the STI 275's. I have no idea why you would want JDM springs, but whatever. I would do a lot more research before you start buying stuff, but good luck.

Why would I not want an oem lowering spring. I have also been looking into RCE springs and some Euor coilovers. I have not done a single mod yet and I probably will not do anything drastic for a little while.
