I said Porsches not caymans have many cars on the road.Caymans share many parts with other porsches while the s2000 does not with other hondas....I think the s2000 is one of the most unique sports car on the road under a 100k.The cayman is a better car but share many parts with other porsches which may be a benefit.I was just stating now that Honda has stopped production, the car has become more special to me especially because it's a roadster.Still, congradulation, you have one of the finest automobiles made.

Congratulations! I really love the Cayman S. I've only heard good things about them and that they are comparabled with an S2000 but are more refined and faster in every way.

Wish you luck with the Cayman. My brother-in-law just got a Non S with the PDK. Had a Porsche in the past, they are OK if you are on a warranty plan as the maintenance will eat you up. No dip stick, major issue to change the oil. Old Wendelin Wiedeking was very good at squeezing every penny out of the system.

Give me some fine Japanese Engineering over German Engineering anytime. S2000, Miata and the 93-95 RX-7 (yes there are engine issues) are some of the best sport cars ever made.

Oh, and just have to have a drop top. Something about driving a nice curvy section with the top down, stereo playing, blue skies and the sun.
Don't know if this translation is correct, but: este chico se retrasa.

It means, this guy is retarded.

The Cayman is my "for real" dream car, as opposed to say my fantasy dream car, the Aston Martin DB9. You can't go wrong getting a Cayman, and you didn't. Good choice. I know you are going to love it. I think they look marvelous.

great car, i know that they are amazing. I'm glad to hear that you are doing well enough to be getting a porsche.

i am curious though, to those who have pulled the trigger on the NEW cayman's, did you get them cause you could lease them, or did you buy? i ask, cause unless you are leasing, you could get a very nice used 997 gt3 for the same money, and most of them still have years left on the warranty.

that said, there is something very special about being the original owner of a car, especially something special like a porsche. and IMO, the cayman is the best porsche for the money when buying new.
