Default TSX owners?

as some of you know i cannot stop fiddling with my cars. i own a 2005 nighthawk black TSX 5AT. its my wifes DD, and we both love the car, no matter what steveC says!

anywho, i think that the TSx has a great motor. sure its porky and not so quick, but it is a stroked K20(K24) and like its RSXS brothern, it responds VERY well to mods. there are guys on tsxclub making 14whp from a header on stock exhaust, stock intake. wow. so my s2 is at a state that my wallet/wife had put it in tuning purgatory. my next mod for the s2 is 4k. so my tuning ocd has been focused on the TSX.

here is my plan/thoughts....

KN drop in
DC header
vafc tune, lean it out and lower vtec to 4400rpm. they stock 600rpm of vtec dont cut if for me. the autos rev out to 7200 so that would make for a nice, fat, juicy vtec mid-range.

autos baseline in the mid 150s to the wheel, so i figure with the above mentioned mods i could crack 180 at the wheel, in a auto tsx!!!! fun sleeper.

so, if any of you guys with TSX want to chime in and give me some tips, i am game!

they are a helluva nice car for the money, i bought mine over a, hold your breath, 03 325i. the tsx was faster, and so well equipped i couldnt turn it down. that and i am a hondaphile.

if i can crank 190 at the wheels out of this car, it would move really well. like a mini TL.
