Default TSX or RL

I've decided to to leave a job in the coming month(s) which has provided me with a company car for the past few years. While the move will positively impact my carrer & income, I will no longer have the company car. It's certainly a possibility I will receive a company car again, however, a few companies I'm looking at upgrading to - offer car allowances in place of providing a car. With this in mind, i've decided that if I receive the car allowance, I would like an 04-05 TSX, or an 02-04 RL - something along the lines of 18-23K, relatively low mileage. Do you have any Recommendations/advice? Because it will be a car i'll be running the wheels off of, these are the two cars which are semi-nice, and reliable/dependable. Any comments or advice?

I would go with the TSX, if you're going to be driving alot it gets decent gas mileage and looks pretty nice IMO.

The older RLs aren't really much fun to drive. They're also stuck with '90s interior styling.

They are larger than the TSX though, and probably more comfortable. Neither car is really all that quick. I looked at off lease RLs for a while before settling on the TSX, the RL is nice but a little sedate for me personally.

out of your two choices, I'd go with the TSX. As was stated earlier, the older RL's aren't very exciting.

I test drove the '05 TSX and I really liked it. Very comfortable with a nice, well thought-out interior. Good handling "feel" as well.

Where exactly are you going to find a G35 coupe for $18-23k?

For comfort, room, and luxury, I'd take the RL anyday. For sportiness and fun, I'd opt for the TSX 6-sp.
