You think i'd get sick of 6 speed for daily driving? It's great for the occasional drive in the S - but my need to multi-task while driving may inhibit getting manual.

Ok, fine then! Get an auto, but it'd still be more fun than the RL. However, the RL is roomier, more comfortable, and more luxurious. I'd take the RL, but depends on how used it is.

My first thought was the RL until I saw you were talking about the older one. If that is the case, I say get the TSX.

RL's are dirt cheap - i'm looking at an 02' with 20,000 miles for 19,000 - most are around the same price.

wholeheartedly. The new RL is amazing, the old one is...ok at best. Go with the TSX.

i own a 05 TSX 5AT. love the car. i lowered ours about 1.5 inches, handles a little more stable. we get great MPG, about 23 in town and i have had a best of 39MPG at 80mph on cruise while on the way to oregon.

I just had the TSX for a week for a loaner and was fairly impressed with the car. There wasnt any fun factor but the interior was modest. The older RL's look too outdated and looks like a boat. I like newer things, so i'd personally go with the tsx.

Id take the RL. I have one, and love it. Reliable as a woodburning stove (its a 2000) and never one single itty bitty problem. Drives like its on glass...smoooooth. Granted its a bit vanilla inside and out, but its a great place to be driving to work and from. Very comfortable, and has everything you need for a nice commute.
