if i were you, i'd drive the s2000, just because i wouldn't want to be "flossin" in the GT-R, but if people at the new job are rollin' porsches/astons/ferraris/lambos, then i'd switch up and drive the GT-R
That's a good point, and well worth considering. Funny thing is over the last 9.5 years co-workers who didn't know me well assumed I was "flossin" by showing up in my s2000. It's my love of the driving experience that made me drive it every day all these yeears and nothing more.

Still, as the new kid on the block maybe less bling is in order until I make some new friends. On the other hand, lots of "normal" people can't distinguish between a rarely seen silver s2000 and a rarely seen silver GT-R. They might be taken aback no matter which car I choose.

Congrats on the ride. I've toyed with the idea of buying another car while b/w contracts - although I probably should stay off Car Talk! But one car has a much higher sticker price, people would say "hey he has a 90k car" versus "hey he has a 30k car with 6k turbo kit"

Congrats on the GT-R!

Do you also need guidance in deciding what to wear on your first day of work? LOL
