In Japan, the G35 is actually a Skyline...like the RSX was still called an Integra.

Nissan has in a sense changed their formula for the GT-R for the R35 generation. As OP stated, no more straight 6, no more manual transmission, it's significantly larger and heavier IIRC, and it's available in the United States. This thread is a broken record now... just ask Nissan What's what.
