Default USGP: I'm calling it for Rossi in advance

Lorenzo is hurt (broken collar bone and broken toe), and Stoner is beat up (although no broken bones) after a high side in qualifying, plus he hasn't been feeling well. Hayden is history. Unless Rossi crashes, he's got it, although Stoner and Pedrosa will give him a run.

Lorenzo had the worst time in Quali. That high-side at the corkscrew was flat-out nasty. Pedrosa found some of the same dirt in the race.

What's Stoner's mystery illness? It is dogging him for weeks now.

I don't think anyone knows (about Stoner's illness). Swine flu?

USGP: Rossi would have won the race if he had another lap. The 10th lap from the end cost him, he had a terrible lap.

What a bold prediction that was to pick Rossi as the winner! Too bad it didn't happen, but he's about as safe a bet as you can find in motorsports short of Bubba Stewart.
